For nearly a year, Air France passengers have had the convenience of dropping off and checking in their baggage at various locations in Paris and its suburbs before heading to the airport. Now, the airline is introducing a new service that delivers luggage to addresses in the greater Paris area upon their flight’s arrival.
These optional services are made possible through a collaboration with Alltheway, a company specializing in secure baggage storage and transfer to and from the airport. This partnership allows customers to travel more comfortably, free from the burden of their luggage before or after their trip.
New: Baggage Delivery Service Upon Arrival
With Alltheway, Air France now provides a fresh option for passengers to have their checked baggage delivered right to their door after arriving at Paris-Charles de Gaulle. Alltheway’s team collects the luggage directly from the arrivals hall carousel and delivers it to the specified address within Paris or its surrounding areas.
Alltheway’s agents handle the baggage throughout the entire process, guaranteeing its security and coordinating with customs authorities. Customers can monitor the status of their luggage every step of the way, eliminating the need to wait at the baggage carousel. Instead, they can travel lightly and receive their luggage directly at their home or hotel.
Delivery occurs between 6 to 12 hours after the flight lands, depending on the pick-up location and the customer’s preference. The service starts at 65 euros for two bags, with an additional charge of 15 euros per extra bag. This delivery option is available for all Air France flights arriving at Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
Before the departure of their flight at Paris-Charles de Gaulle or Paris-Orly, Air France customers can drop off and check in their baggage directly from home, at the address oftheir choice or at one of the various baggage drop-off points available.
This summer, new baggage drop-off points are now available in strategic, easy-to-access locations in Paris and the Paris region. This service is now available at the Gare du Nord train station**, the Wojo coworking space near Saint Lazare train station and the New York hotel at Disneyland Paris.
These new drop-off points are in addition to those already available in six ACCOR hotels – Novotel Tour Eiffel, Mercure Tour Eiffel, Novotel Les Halles, Pullman La Défense, Pullman Bercy and Novotel Paris-Est.Baggage drop-off services are also available at major exhibition sites, including Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Villepinte Exhibition Centre, and the Palais des Congrès.convention centre.
Alltheway handles customers’ baggage at convenient drop-off points and delivers them directly to the airline’s check-in desk at the airport. The baggage undergoes thorough security checks at every stage before being loaded onto the customer’s flight.From their Alltheway personal account, customers can track their baggage in real time to the airport.
This service is available from 30 hours to 5 hours before the flight’s departure, depending on the baggage drop-off location, and costs 25 euros for the first bag, with an additional 15 euros for each extra bag.euros per additional bag. This service is offered for all Air France flights departing from Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly, excluding those to Tel Aviv.
