LOT Polish Airlines, the flag carrier of Poland and one of the world’s longest-operating airlines, headquartered in Warsaw with its hub at Warsaw Chopin Airport, has appointed APG as its online General Sales Agent (GSA) in Saudi Arabia. Under this agreement, APG will enhance LOT Polish Airlines’ presence in Saudi Arabia by providing comprehensive sales development, agent and passenger helpdesk services, as well as extensive marketing activities.

On June 4, 2024, LOT Polish Airlines inaugurated its first flight to Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia. Riyadh is now the second city on the Arabian Peninsula to be included in the national carrier’s flight network, following Dubai. This debut flight to Saudi Arabia marks yet another addition to LOT’s 2024 destination list, which also includes Tashkent, Athens, and Oradea.

Direct flights between Poland and Saudi Arabia operated by LOT Polish Airlines will run three times a week. Departures from Warsaw Chopin Airport are scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 3:20 p.m., while return flights from Riyadh are set for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 1:25 a.m. local time. The flight to Riyadh takes approximately 5 hours and 45 minutes, and the return trip takes 5 hours and 30 minutes, operated by Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.

This new Riyadh-Warsaw connection not only provides passengers from the Arabian Peninsula with easy access to Poland but also opens up numerous other appealing destinations within the Polish carrier’s flight network. LOT offers a variety of direct flights to major Western European cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, and Frankfurt. For those planning transatlantic travel, LOT Polish Airlines also provides direct flights to Canada and the United States, including Toronto, New York, Chicago, Miami, and Los Angeles.
