Daytime Emmys 2024 Red Carpet: Live Updates


The 51st Daytime Emmy Awards had celebrities showcasing an array of red and pink hues and vintage-inspired fashion on the red carpet, with appearances from Zooey Deschanel, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson and more. The first half of the award show took place in Los Angeles on Friday, June 7, at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles.

Zooey Deschanel, who was nominated for Outstanding Culinary Series for her Max series, “What Am I Eating? with Zooey Deschanel”, walked the Emmy’s red carpet in a vintage 1966 Betsey Johnson for Paraphernalia sequin mini dress from Timeless Vixen, styled by Ib Abdel Nasser.

Jennifer Hudson, nominated for “Outstanding Daytime Talk Series,” wore a floral Marchesa gown. The gown featured a sparkling sequined floral print in various shades on a black background, a strappy plunging bodice, and a form-fit. The award ultimately went to Kelly Clarkson.

Kelly Clarkson, who took home the award for “Outstanding Daytime Talk Series,” wore a structured satin-crepe gown featuring a cape by Alex Perry. The gown was styled with a pair of statement earrings and matching heels that remained tucked under the skirt of her dress most of the time.

Amanda Kloots, who was also nominated for “Outstanding Daytime Talk Series” for her hosting duties on “The Talk,” appeared alongside her five-year-old son, Elvis Cordero, in a red sequin-adorned, floor-length gown.

Lisa Yamada, a member of “The Bold and the Beautiful” since 2023, walked the red carpet in a romantic, airy pink dress that featured a knotted bodice, a cutout in the center of the torso and a thigh-high slit in the floor-length skirt.

The 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards took place over two days. The first half was held on June 7 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, with “General Hospital” taking home four awards. Hosted by Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner, presenters included Kelly Clarkson, Zooey Deschanel and Scott Evans. The second half airs tonight via the Emmy’s app at 9 p.m. ET.
