LOT Polish Airlines to Enhance Business Lounge Polonez with Renovations at Warsaw Chopin Airport

LOT Polish Airlines has announced plans to expand its Business Lounge Polonez, located in the Schengen zone of Warsaw Chopin Airport. Renovation works are set to begin in July, with the official reopening scheduled for December. The revamped lounge will offer guests more space and enhanced relaxation areas, reflecting LOT’s commitment to Polish hospitality and brand identity.
Enhanced Comfort and Space
The Business Lounge Polonez will increase its area by 153 square meters, bringing the total space to over 860 square meters. The expansion will include additional seating and a view of the terminal below, providing a serene and comfortable environment for travelers. The design will blend elegance with functionality, featuring modern furniture such as comfortable seats and sofas to ensure passengers can unwind before their flights.
Investment in Passenger Experience
This expansion is part of LOT Polish Airlines’ ongoing efforts to enhance passenger comfort and service quality. It follows last year’s announcement of a new business lounge at Chicago O’Hare Airport and the modernization of Boeing 787 Dreamliner cabins. These initiatives underscore LOT’s dedication to improving the overall travel experience for its passengers.

From satisfaction surveys, we know that passengers rate the lounge very well, especially valuing our food and beverage offer. However, we realize that in the so-called “outbound waves” the lounge is visited by many travelers, therefore, as part of the modernization, we will introduce more space and modern amenities. I believe that the changes will provide even greater comfort, as well as the ability to work and relax freely. LOT Business Lounge Polonez is the largest lounge at the Chopin Airport, which is LOT’s hub. We want all our customers to experience LOT’s famous hospitality right here, even before boarding. We can’t wait to invite them to a completely changed interior,” says Izabela Leszczyńska, Director of Product Development and Customer Experience Department at LOT Polish Airlines.
The renovation will be conducted in stages, ensuring that selected areas of the Business Lounge Polonez remain accessible to guests. The lounge will continue to operate seven days a week from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm. The grand reopening is planned for December 2024.
