Vistara Emerges as Best Airline in India & South Asia at 2024 World Airline Awards

Vistara, India’s premier full-service carrier and a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, has once again achieved remarkable recognition at the esteemed 2024 World Airline Awards by Skytrax. The airline secured the prestigious title of ‘Best Airline in India & South Asia’ for the fourth consecutive year and ‘Best Airline Staff Service in India & South Asia’ for an impressive sixth consecutive year. Additionally, Vistara was honored with ‘Best Cabin Crew in India & South Asia’ for the fourth time and ‘Best Business Class Airline in India & South Asia’ for the third successive year.

In a significant achievement, Vistara maintained its global ranking as the 16th best airline, making it the only Indian carrier to feature in the list of the World’s Top 20 Airlines for the third consecutive time.

Vistara also received accolades for ‘Best Business Class Onboard Catering in India & South Asia,’ ‘Best Economy Class in India & South Asia,’ ‘Best Economy Class Onboard Catering in India & South Asia,’ and ‘Cleanest Airline in India & South Asia.’ The airline upheld its position as the 8th best among the ‘Best Airlines in Asia 2024.’

Over the past nine years, Vistara has set new benchmarks in operational excellence and service delivery, driven by a customer-centric approach. This commitment has earned the airline global admiration and recognition. The accolades are based on votes from travelers worldwide, representing over 100 nationalities, in the World Airline Awards, which is the largest airline passenger satisfaction survey with 21.42 million eligible entries for the period between September 2023 and May 2024.

Vistara, India’s highest-rated airline according to Skytrax and TripAdvisor, has garnered numerous ‘Best Airline’ awards. In just over nine years since its inception, Vistara has significantly raised operational and service standards in the Indian aviation sector.

Bookings for the sale are now open on Vistara’s website, iOS and Android apps, at Vistara’s Airport Ticket Offices (ATOs), through the airline’s call center, Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), and travel agents. Promotional fares are not eligible for direct channel discounts, corporate discounts/soft benefits, or voucher use. Seats on sale are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Vistara has been recognized as the ’16th Best Airline’ globally and the ‘Best Airline in India and South Asia’ for three consecutive years. It has also won awards for ‘Best Airline Staff,’ ‘Best Cabin Crew,’ and ‘Best Business Class Airline in India and South Asia,’ among others, at the prestigious World Airline Awards by Skytrax. Vistara was also honored with the World’s 4th Youngest Aircraft Fleet and Asia’s 2nd Youngest Aircraft Fleet awards in 2024 by ch-aviation.
