The Schall Law Firm, a nationwide shareholder rights litigation firm, has announced an investigation on behalf of Delta Air Lines, Inc. investors, looking into potential breaches of fiduciary duty by the company’s directors and management.
The investigation is centered on whether the Delta board failed in its fiduciary responsibilities to shareholders. On July 23, 2024, the Department of Transportation (“DOT”) revealed an investigation into Delta, led by the Office of Aviation Consumer Protection. The probe will focus on the company’s cancellation of hundreds of flights due to a system outage caused by a faulty software update from CrowdStrike, which left many travelers stranded.
