Barclays US Consumer Bank, a prominent credit card issuer and financial services partner, announced the extension of its long-standing co-branded credit card partnership with Hawaiian Airlines, the largest and oldest airline in Hawai’i.
As per the new agreement, Barclays will continue to offer the Hawaiian Airlines World Elite Mastercard® for individual consumers and the Hawaiian Airlines World Elite Business Mastercard® for small businesses. The Hawaiian Airlines World Elite Mastercard provides one of the quickest ways to accumulate HawaiianMiles, which never expire. Primary cardholders enjoy benefits such as two complimentary checked bags on eligible flights, a $100 annual companion discount, and a 3/2/1 earn rate (3x on Hawaiian Airlines purchases, 2x on gas, dining, and groceries, and 1x on all other purchases). Additionally, new cardmembers can earn 70,000 bonus HawaiianMiles after qualifying purchases.
Hawaiian Airlines has also teamed up with various companies to offer cardholders additional opportunities to earn miles through their Buy and Fly program. This program includes a network of local and national retailers and restaurants that provide bonus HawaiianMiles for purchases made with the Hawaiian Airlines World Elite Mastercard. Each card features contactless technology and is made with recovered ocean-bound plastic, reflecting the airline’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
