LOT Polish Airlines, the national airline of Poland, has partnered with Viasat Inc. (NASDAQ: VSAT), a leading provider of satellite communications, to enhance its in-flight services. The collaboration will see 15 aircraft from LOT’s Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 Dreamliner fleets outfitted with Viasat’s advanced Ka-band global in-flight connectivity solution.
This initiative marks the first time LOT will offer in-flight Wi-Fi, part of a comprehensive upgrade to its Dreamliner fleet. The enhancements also include a revamped cabin design, new seating, and additional features aimed at elevating the passenger experience.
The newly equipped aircraft are set to enter commercial service by early 2026. These aircraft will operate on LOT’s routes from Warsaw Chopin Airport, providing passengers with high-quality in-flight connectivity on their journeys around the world.
