TIGHITCO proudly announces its selection by Sikorsky to produce an advanced aerostructure system for Black Hawk UH-60, enhancing the helicopter’s performance.
TIGHITCO, a premier provider of advanced composite structures and assemblies, proudly announces its selection by Sikorsky for the production phase of an innovative aerostructure system designed to enhance the Black Hawk Helicopter UH-60 platform. This milestone highlights TIGHITCO’s dedication to superior quality and innovation in the aerospace and defense sectors. The Complex Composites Division, located in Charleston, South Carolina, and Berlin, Connecticut, will support the manufacturing of advanced systems across all Black Hawk platforms, marking a minimum five-year program valued at $134 million. Deliveries are slated to begin in Q4 2024.
Developed collaboratively over nearly a decade, the new system will be integral to the performance and safety of Sikorsky’s Black Hawk UH-60. TIGHITCO’s Complex Composites Division has a stellar reputation for providing high-quality and innovative solutions in the aerospace and defense industry. With expertise in advanced composite materials and manufacturing processes, TIGHITCO is the ideal partner for this critical project.
