The Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO) is pleased to announce that the 9th South Pacific Tourism Exchange (SPTE) will be held at the Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa in Nadi, Fiji, on May 9-10, 2025.

This event will follow other significant regional trade events, including the Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) 2025, from April 28 to May 1, and TRENZ 2025, scheduled for May 6-8.

The announcement follows the successful SPTE 2024 held at the Sheraton Fiji Resort & Spa on Denarau Island.

SPTO CEO, Christopher Cocker, expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming event, highlighting the organisation’s dedication to fostering collaboration and innovation in the Pacific tourism sector.

“We’re excited to host the event at the Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa in Nadi, Fiji, a location that truly captures the essence of Pacific warmth and hospitality.

Our goal is to create an exceptional experience for our members and stakeholders, one that drives meaningful connections and sustainable growth across the region,” said Mr. Cocker.

As the SPTO’s flagship event, the SPTE serves as a crucial platform for tourism operators, wholesalers, and stakeholders to engage, collaborate, and showcase the Pacific Islands’ diverse offerings.

“We are excited to host the 2025 event in Fiji and anticipate another successful event.

While the Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa has been confirmed as the venue, we continue to ensure all logistical details are perfectly aligned to provide the best experience for our participants,” Mr. Cocker added.

SPTE presents a unique opportunity for stakeholders in the tourism industry to come together and explore new avenues for collaboration and growth.

This will be the 9th SPTE and the second time the event will be held in Fiji after seven successful years in Australia and New Zealand.

As preparations are underway for SPTE 2025, stakeholders can look forward to resources on the event website to facilitate their participation.

This milestone event promises to bring about positive change within the tourism industry, setting new standards for excellence and collaboration across the region.

In the upcoming months, SPTO will update the SPTE website with extensive resources for partners interested in participating in the event.
