China Southern Airlines has unveiled a series of adjustments to its European flight schedule for the upcoming Northern winter 2024-2025 season, which will take effect from October 27, 2024. These changes reflect the airline’s strategic efforts to optimize its route network and enhance service efficiency in response to evolving market demands. The modifications are based on a schedule comparison between May 26, 2024, and August 5, 2024.

Beijing Daxing – Amsterdam

Starting October 27, 2024, China Southern Airlines will increase the frequency of its Beijing Daxing to Amsterdam route from the initially filed four weekly flights to five weekly flights. This route will be serviced by the Airbus A330-300, providing enhanced connectivity and greater travel flexibility for passengers.

Beijing Daxing – Istanbul

Similarly, the airline will boost its service from Beijing Daxing to Istanbul, increasing the number of weekly flights from three to four. This adjustment, effective from October 27, 2024, will also be operated using the Airbus A330-300, catering to the growing demand for travel between these two dynamic cities.

Guangzhou – Amsterdam

In contrast, the Guangzhou to Amsterdam route will see a reduction in frequency. From October 28, 2024, to December 3, 2024, the service will decrease from six weekly flights to five weekly flights. The Airbus A350-900XWB will continue to serve this route, ensuring a high level of comfort and efficiency for passengers.

Guangzhou – Moscow Sheremetyevo

The airline has decided to maintain its daily service between Guangzhou and Moscow Sheremetyevo, countering the previously filed plan of reducing the frequency to three weekly flights. This route will be serviced by the Airbus A350-900XWB, reflecting a commitment to providing consistent and reliable service on this important route.

Guangzhou – Paris Charles de Gaulle

Similarly, the Guangzhou to Paris Charles de Gaulle route will continue to operate as a daily service with the Airbus A350-900XWB, as opposed to the initially planned five weekly flights. This adjustment, effective from October 27, 2024, underscores China Southern’s dedication to maintaining robust connectivity with major European hubs.

Guangzhou – Rome Fiumicino

Finally, the Guangzhou to Rome Fiumicino route will experience a notable reduction in frequency. Starting October 27, 2024, the service will decrease from the initially filed six weekly flights to three weekly flights. This route will be operated by the Boeing 787-9, offering passengers a modern and comfortable travel experience.
