Hermes Airports expands potable water stations at Larnaka and Pafos, enhancing passenger amenities and supporting sustainability by reducing plastic use.

Hermes Airports has installed additional potable water fountains at Larnaka and Pafos airports, offering more options to passengers.

Specifically, in addition to the two existing stations at Larnaka Airport (introduced in 2020), two new water fountains have been installed at Departure Gates 23 and 43.

At Pafos Airport, alongside the existing water fountain at Departure Gate 7, a new one has been added at Departure Gate 1.

In the next few weeks, the free water supply will be enhanced with the addition of four new water fountains at Larnaka Airport (two at the Arrivals level and two at the Departures level) and two more at Pafos Airport (one at the Arrivals area and one at the Departures area).

Frequent checks are conducted to ensure the quality of the water.

This initiative is part of Hermes Airports’ sustainability strategy and efforts to reduce its environmental footprint.

For more than a decade, Hermes has been committed to sustainable development and creating a model that benefits both the environment and society.

The Director of Aviation Development, Marketing and Communications at Hermes Airports, Maria Kouroupi, stated that “As Larnaka and Pafos Airports continue to grow, we are fulfilling our commitment to actions that support sustainability, while also offering options to passengers and airport staff to encourage the further reduction of plastic usage”.
