Textron Aviation launches eco-friendly MLG repair for Cessna Citation 560XL, enhancing service while cutting costs.

Textron Aviation has recently expanded its maintenance services by introducing an innovative repair method for the main landing gear (MLG) of Cessna Citation 560XL series aircraft. This new procedure, crafted in partnership with Able Aerospace Services, a Textron affiliate, enables substantial repairs of the MLG without necessitating complete replacements. This enhancement offers a timely and cost-efficient alternative for clients.

Additionally, Textron Aviation Inc., a subsidiary of Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT), provides specialized factory-direct support, upkeep, and modifications for Beechcraft, Cessna, and Hawker aircraft. Support is facilitated through an extensive international network that includes service centers, parts facilities, mobile service units, and round-the-clock 1CALL AOG (aircraft-on-ground) assistance.

Initially in 2020, Textron Aviation introduced a repair service for the main landing gear (MLG) on the Cessna Citation CJ series aircraft. This service not only improves efficiency for clients but also aligns with Textron Aviation’s environmental initiatives to reduce waste and promote the reuse of parts through repair, exchange, and rental options. The company remains committed to continuously improving the maintenance efficiency and cost-effectiveness for the entire fleet of Beechcraft and Cessna aircraft.
