Southwest Airlines has introduced Stellar Snacks’ Maui Monk Pretzel Braids as its latest inflight snack offering. This new selection blends the rich taste of buttery pretzels with a unique combination of sweet Maui onion and subtle monk fruit sweetness. The addition of these flavorful pretzels is part of Southwest’s continued efforts to enhance passenger experience, which also includes improvements like upgraded WiFi, additional power ports, and expanded overhead storage.

“Elevating our Legendary Hospitality is always something we strive toward at Southwest,” said Bill Tierney, Vice President Customer Experience & Digital Experience at Southwest Airlines. “We’re enhancing our inflight snack offering with the addition of Stellar Pretzels, which offer Customers a little bit of everything—sweet, salty, and crunchy—from an up-and-coming company that bakes its snacks with love. We think it’s the perfect fit for the airline with Heart and hope Customers enjoy this exciting new flavor next time they fly Southwest.”

“Our best-selling Maui Monk Pretzels are high-quality, vegan, and non-GMO snacks made in the U.S.,” said Elisabeth Galvin, Founder, Stellar Snacks. “In addition to our gourmet flavors, we take the snack experience further through our artist program, which transforms our snack packaging into a canvas for emerging artists. Each bag of Maui Monk Pretzels features a selection of the vibrant artwork of Caro Clarke, turning each snack into an engaging, artistic experience for every traveler as they enjoy their pretzels.”

Stellar’s Maui Monk Pretzels boast a variety of health-conscious credentials: they are vegan, dairy-free, and free from nuts, soy, and artificial flavors or colors. Additionally, they are made in a peanut-free facility, are kosher certified, non-GMO project verified, and contain no MSG or corn syrup.

Passengers on Southwest flights exceeding 175 miles can now enjoy these pretzels. For more information on the full range of food and beverage options available, visit southwest.com or the Southwest Inflight Portal.
